DMS NPC undertook the Review of the West Coast District Municipality Disaster Risk Profile at the West Coast District Disaster Management Centre, Moorreesburg. Francis Hoets and Geoff Laskey facilitated the workshop involving stakeholders from Local Municipalities in the District in order to review the priority disaster risks identified in 2012 and provide for an opportunity to identify new and emerging disaster risks within the local and district municipalities. A 'Disaster Risk Mapper' Tool developed by DMS NPC was used to identify and map priority disaster risks during the workshop.
