The Community-based Early Warning System (CbEWS) aims to develop and implement a multi-hazard Community-based Early Warning System through a collaborative bottom-up approach, tailored to the context of households and communities located in high-risk areas.
The youth development in disaster risk management (DRM) programme aims to empower youth and develop their skills in DRM. The intent is to promote effective, energetic and dynamic leadership, driving future focused integrated and holistic DRM programmes in the South African context.
The School-based Early Warning System (SbEWS) aims to develop and implement a tailored multi-hazard SbEWS in high-risk communities of South Africa for the communication of early warnings to learners, educators, parents and their wider communities.
Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Capacity Development initiatives aim to provide education, training and awareness to target groups, including high-risk communities, youth and community-based organisation to address the enabling environment, organisational capacity and individual capacity building requirements.
DMS NPC requires general donations to support ongoing or new projects, as well as continuous development and growth of the organisation to ensure a wider reach and greater impact in our efforts to enhance community resilience. These donations can be monetary or in the form of equipment, goods, or services.
