Event Safety Management Training

Uniquely interactive training.

DMS NPC has developed a uniquely interactive training, fully aligned with the Safety at Sports and Recreational Events Act (No. 2 of 2010) and SANS 10366:2009 (Health and Safety at Events).

Those in charge of proactively and reactively guaranteeing safety and security during live events at a venue, stadium, and along a route are the target audience for the three-day in-person training. This training is presented in-house to groups, consisting of at least 10 individuals.

The successful learner should be able to develop an event safety and security plan, which includes:

Interpret and apply legal requirements of the Act;
Identify roles and responsibilities;
Integrated event safety and security planning;
Risk assessment and monitoring of events;
Crowd management and control;
Venue and site design and layout; and
Event Incident management.
